Hey kennabra, I don't know if that's realistic. I'm sure he could do it but coach Peyton likes to mix it up and not focus on one area. I'm sure that the Saints could achieve success with just throwing or just running but they're not one-dimensional so why do it?
Peyton is a mental coach so he likes to make opponents play a mental game, where if they're not a mental team as well they will lose. The Saints are the Muhummed Ali's of football. Sure, they have the physical ability but they know you know that and try to adjust to it but how do you adjust to what coach Peyton throws at you? You can't. You have to adjust constantly and that is where they get you!
So, don't get stuck on just the numbers of the game. Focus on strategy.

Good points! I just want to see him run. I don't know if it's just a bunch of hype but Bush has a lot of fans and he has the potential to draw a lot of attention to the Saints. I hope he proves right.
That was an awesome recption. It reminds of Hilliard and his sweet spot on the field, over the middle with a short pass and he was hard to stop. But with Dalton it was a matter of picking up hard to stop mass as he picked up speed.
Reggie did miss a step in Sunday's game when he failed to outrun a back in open field.
He does have great hands. I think he'll be used more as a reciever this year. The thing is he is still thought of as a running threat by other teams. This is good becuase the other teams will have to spend resources on watching him. What's going to blow the other teams minds is when Reggie Bush is faked to out of the backfield and then becomes a reciever. How are other football teams going to prepare for that?
At the least, other football teams will constantly be wondering what coverage to come up with. Imagine being in passing formation with Bush in the backfield. That's a football defensive coach's nightmare. Send in more than one defensive back and you risk leaving the recievers open; send in less than one back and Bush is live.
